Charles Penvose, DPM

dr penvoseDr. Penvose, a native of Ohio, attended The Ohio State University where he obtained a B.S. in Microbiology with Research Honors. He then spent two years as a Research Assistant in The Ohio State University’s Department of Immunology before continuing his medical education. Dr. Penvose completed medical school at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with Honors.

He completed his surgical residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year and trained under internationally recognized pioneers of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery with the Podiatry Institute. Dr. Penvose is a faculty member of the Podiatry Institute and has given lectures nationwide as well as taught cadaver courses to podiatric surgeons and residents. He has co-authored multiple publications in foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Penvose is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. He is also an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

He looks forward to treating patients of all age groups with various foot and ankle pathologies, including sports medicine, trauma, arthritis, diabetic limb salvage, and foot and ankle reconstruction.

When not treating patients, Dr. Penvose enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife and son.
