Amanda Quisno, DPM

Dr. Amanda Quisno is originally from the Sandusky, Ohio area, and was very active in high school athletics, participating in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. Growing up, she was always very interested in the sciences, and her interest was sparked in podiatry when she learned one of her neighbors and family friends was a podiatrist in her hometown.

Dr. Quisno continued her athletic career at the collegiate level in both volleyball and track and field at Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in 2007, and following a year working in medical research, she went on to attend the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) from 2008-2012. She remained involved in extra-curricular activities at KSUCPM, and was the captain of the Women's basketball team, as well as president of Pi Delta Honor Society and a student representative to the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association. She graduated summa cum laude from KSUCPM in 2012.

Dr. Quisno went on to complete a three year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency, with added credential in Rearfoot and Ankle Reconstructive surgery, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. During her time at Grant, she served as co-chief resident, and was extensively trained in all areas of foot and ankle surgery, including trauma, limb salvage, sports medicine, diabetic foot care, and the treatment of flatfoot, bunions, and other common foot and ankle pathologies in the adult and child.

Dr. Quisno is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is on medical staff at Grant Medical Center, Licking Memorial Hospital, Mount Carmel East, and Select Specialty.

Dr. Quisno remains very active, competing in half marathons and playing sand volleyball. In her spare time she loves following Ohio sports, including the Buckeyes, Browns, and the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops, where her husband Ian Formaz is currently a football coach.
